We are looking for volunteers to attend our workshops and assist with planning events,  that have leadership experience, who are willing to fundraise, help with monetary donations, to provide sponsorship or to join our board. 

 

Volunteer meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month, location TBA. 

 

All Volunteers MUST attend an orientation prior to Volunteering for training purposes. Thank you for your support of our mission and the courageously inspirational women we empower!

Event Coordinator

 

We are seeking a creative, highly organized event planner to help us execute unforgettable events that generate awareness, build business relationships, and boost women's morale. You will be responsible for conceptualizing ideas for the events, creating and enforcing budgets, liaising with suppliers, communicating with clients, and ultimately ensuring that each event is flawlessly executed.

As the event planner, you should be an expert multitasker with impeccable attention to detail. The best person for this role will have an extraordinary ability to foresee risks and anticipate needs so that attendees are impressed and entirely satisfied by the time each event comes to a close.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying clients' requirements and expectations for each event.

  • Brainstorming and implementing event concepts and themes.

  • Preparing event budgets and processing invoices.

  • Researching and booking venues.

  • Organizing suppliers, caterers, staff, and entertainment.

  • Coordinating all logistical elements of the event.

  • Managing set-up, tear-down, and clean-up operations.

  • Anticipating attendee needs and making preparations against potential risks.

  • Developing post-event reports on the effectiveness of each event.

Volunteer Events Team

We are looking for up to 10 volunteers to join a team to innovate, collaborate, and host events. These events will be the foundation to raise funds for our mentorship and the publication of EnVision Proven Success.

We need volunteers to meet once a month for 2 hours to come up with creative events and to raise money for the mission of EnVision Proven Success. The Volunteer Events Team will plan events, execute, set-up, attend, and market EnVision Proven Success' mission. The expectation for the group is to host one event per quarter equaling four events per year. Writers (AP Style)

 

Writers, volunteer position requires some experience with AP Style writing, face-to-face recording interview with disadvantage women.​

Fundraiser

 

Fundraising is an important part of our organization that allows us to continue to provide meaningful and quality programming.

 

AS A PART OF OUR FUNDRAISING TEAM YOU MAY ASSIST WITH:

  • Volunteering at upcoming fundraising events

  • Development of fundraising events

  • Marketing of upcoming fundraising events

  • Networking with potential partners, donors and sponsors

Mentor Coordinator

 

The mentor Coordinator oversees guidance and mentoring programs, ensuring that people are paired with an advisor or mentor who meets their specific needs.
 

Professionals in this career supervise mentor programs for various industries, organizations, agencies, or educational institutions. Mentor coordinators often work with other management staff to determine the goals and needs of mentor programs. They train mentors and match them with designated individuals or students. Mentor coordinators often keep records of mentor program progress and they might report this progress to supervisors or other groups. Also, asked to do fundraisers and seek sponsorship.

One of the key duties of mentor coordinators is identifying individuals who would make good mentors. Coordinators interview mentor candidates to find those who possess traits such as knowledge of the mission/vision of EnVision Proven Success and the ability to instruct others. They then pair each mentor with a mentee and provide mentors with guidance concerning what/how to assist their mentees.

The mentor coordinator may even provide mentors with a list of goals that the mentor and mentee should accomplish throughout the course of the program.

Two other major job duties include monitoring and evaluating mentor/mentee relationships. The coordinator will monitor these relationships through verbal communications, such as face-to-face, virtual meetings, or over-the-phone conversations. Indirect communication may include reviewing progress reports written by mentors. Coordinators also evaluate each mentor/mentee pair to determine if any changes must be made, such as reassigning the mentor or mentee. Working closely with the CEO and sponsor, the mentor coordinators, including writing reports about the success rates or failures of current programs. They also document hours put in by mentors, particularly if the mentor is a student who's receiving course or volunteer credit for mentoring.

 

Assistant Coordinator
Assistant Coordinators provide clerical and operational support to senior coordinators. Resume samples for Assistant Coordinator highlight duties such as preparing reports, tracking project expenses, coordinating project teams, organizing meetings, and doing data entry work.
