McQuetta Williams is the Founder and CEO of EnVision Proven Success, a nonprofit and publication dedicated to empowering economically and socially disadvantaged women and girls. Her journey is one of resilience, faith, and unwavering determination — a testament to the truth that women don’t look like what they’ve been through.
In 2004, McQuetta’s life changed unexpectedly. On November 15, 2004, after raising three children as a single mother, she became vision‑impaired. The transition was devastating, but it became the beginning of a new chapter. With support from the Ohio Bureau of Services for the Visually Impaired (BSVI), she was referred to WrightChoice and Dress for Success Columbus, where she received her first suiting. That moment restored her confidence and opened the door to employment at FirstLink, now HandsOn Central Ohio.
Since 2007, McQuetta has been both a recipient and advocate for Dress for Success Columbus. In 2010, she was honored as the organization’s first Woman of Power, a recognition she holds close to her heart. Her accomplishments continued: on May 4, 2013, she graduated from Ohio Dominican University with a Bachelor of Science degree and purchased her dream home. She credits her success to God and to the organizations that supported her journey — Dress for Success Columbus, WrightChoice, and HandsOn Central Ohio.
McQuetta’s story has been featured in Capital Style, Daisy Magazine, VOICEcorps, WrightChoice’s Diversity publication, and Radio One Community Advocate, amplifying her voice as a community leader and advocate for women’s empowerment.
Driven by gratitude and purpose, McQuetta founded EnVision Proven Success to give back to the community and to show women that all dreams are reachable. Through the EPS magazine and now the EPS Podcast, she provides a platform for diverse women to share their stories — stories that prove that strength, dignity, and success can rise from even the most challenging circumstances.
“I am more than ecstatic,” she says. “I have an EnVision Proven Success story because diverse women don’t look like what we’ve been through. EnVision Proven Success is my way to show that we all have the power to succeed.”
McQuetta believes deeply that women are more than statistics. The stories published through EPS highlight women who strive for excellence, pursue economic stability, and use creative resources to reach ambitious personal and professional goals. EPS continues to provide vital solutions for women in the local community — and with increased sponsorship, donations, and volunteer support, the network of empowered women will grow even stronger.
